Pygame Shadow Switcher

This is a Pygame version of Shadow Switcher made with permission from the original Commodore 64 games creator Christian Gleinsner aka drwuro.

This version differs from the original in a few ways.  There is no level editor built in or demo mode.  I included a couple of easter eggs in the game including a few bonus levels.  I added a difficulty selector and a "continue last level" option.  I used ChatGpt for the project to assist in a few areas such as sound/music and in a few instances to assist code generation for some rather simple things that I had no idea how to implement such as dissolving the player, etc.  I have been working on the game off and on for more than a year.  This was a learning project.  Please support the original author with a small donation to his paypal account (above).  -- Gray Defender

There is a settings.json file which will allow some basic game tweaks such as turning off the music by default, starting level, score required for free man and the primary button for gamepad.

Keep in mind a menu appears when escape is pressed during gameplay.
